The L-114 lever, in solid bronze, with a replaceable scent core seated behind the rose. Release is actuated by grip, not by a timer. Specified by door, by floor, or by zone.
The L-Series is not a collection and does not change seasonally. These four have been offered since 2019 and we have no intention of adding to them.
Dense, resinous, slightly sweet. The most specified scent in the range by a considerable margin, and the one people ask the name of.
Earthy and dark, and it deepens rather than fades over the life of the core. Best in circulation space, where nobody stops long enough to analyse it.
Bright, short and almost entirely gone within the hour. Specified where a room is used for a defined purpose and then left.
Not a fragrance. L-09 is specified where an existing installation is being removed, or where a scent is no longer appropriate to a space. It does not add. It clears, and it takes about eleven weeks.

Dwell is the period over which a scent remains identifiable to an occupant in a sealed room at 20 °C after a single contact. It is not the period over which it remains effective.
The core is a sealed cartridge seated behind the rose, inside the lever. It is not a diffuser and it is not on a timer. Release is actuated by grip — body heat through the bronze, and the pressure of a hand closing — and stops when the hand lets go.
This is the entire reason the product is a handle and not a wall unit. A corridor with a wall diffuser scents an empty corridor all night. A corridor fitted with L-Series scents exactly the number of people who walked down it, at the moment each of them did.
Mean contacts per handle per day, commercial installation: 412. Mean contact duration: 1.4 seconds. Both figures are from logged installations and are the basis of the 14-month core life.
The carrier oil is supplied by VGRIZ Advanced Materials. Its technical file lists the active component as left deliberately empty for its own protection, which is the supplier's standard wording and not specific to us.
Specify by function and a building becomes legible to the people inside it before they have read a single sign. They know which floor they are on, and they do not know how they know.
Occupants reliably associate a zone with its scent within nine days. From that point the association runs in both directions: entering the zone recalls the scent, and re-presenting the scent returns the occupant to the state they were in when the association formed.
This is the basis of the specification, and it is why we recommend one scent per function and never one per floor. A scent used in two rooms that do different things will carry whatever happened in the first room into the second.
Specifiers sometimes ask whether the effect weakens with familiarity. It does not. Measured association strength at twenty-four months is higher than at nine days in every installation we have been able to re-survey.

Where a project appears twice, the second entry is a revision to part of the original installation and not a separate commission.
These accompany every quotation and are reproduced here in full. They are not conditions of sale.
Downloads are released to the named specifier on a project, not to a company. We keep a record of who holds which revision.
We do not sell a single handle and we do not supply to a homeowner. A project begins with a door schedule, and we will take it from there.
